Information about Evaluations and Reevaluations during the School Closure - March 17th - March 27th
At this time, the assessments for Initial Evaluations and Reevaluations with testing may be delayed, due to the inability of staff to work directly with students. If we determine a way to provide the assessments virtually, we will contact you to set that up. If you have a scheduled meeting coming up that falls past March 27th, please plan to keep that meeting date for the time being. We will contact you if there is a need to hold the meeting via conference call, Zoom meetings, or a need to reschedule. Please stay tuned for upcoming changes, as our directives are still being determined and things are changing at a very rapid pace.
Please feel free to contact me at CRice@camphillsd.k12.pa.us OR Tracey Quigley-Jones at TQuigley-Jones@camphillsd.k12.pa.us
I Hope that Everyone Stays Heathy and I Wish Each of You the Best! Please reach out to us if you need anything during this time!
Welcome to my website!
My name is Cristy Rice and I am the school psychologist for the Camp Hill School District. I work with students in all of the buildings, Kindergarten through 12th grade. I conduct Initial Evaluations and Gifted Evaluations, serve on the SAP Team (Student Assistance Program Team) for the middle and high schools and on the MTSS Teams (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) for the elementary schools. I also assist with Reevaluations, Behavior Plans, 504 Plans, the PBIS Teams (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) for all of the schools and I am also available to provide Teacher and Parent Consultation on a variety of topics. At times, I carry out some small group Interventions, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (Counseling).
I VERY Much enjoy working with ALL of the
Students, Teachers and Parents in the
District! Camp Hill is a Wonderful School District
set within a Fantastic, CARING
and Supportive Community!
*Please see My Resource Page for Recent Information from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) regarding suicide, including a fact/informational Tip sheet about suicide (what to look for as far as signs, etc.). Please also see information pertaining to Season 2 of the Netflix show 13 REASONS WHY that was released last spring. It provides helpful information for parents to guide their teens, should they chose to allow them to view the show.
