District Responsibilities

  • Manages all District athletic teams, events, and activities, ensuring alignment with district policies and goals.

  • Recruits, trains, and evaluates coaches and athletic personnel to maintain a high standard of performance and sportsmanship.

  • Enforces league, state, and federal regulations, including eligibility, Title IX, and student-athlete health and safety protocols.

  • Develops and oversees athletic budgets, scheduling, transportation, and maintenance of sports facilities and equipment.

About Mr. June
Mr. June is originally from Camp Hill and is a graduate of our District.  Prior to coming to Camp Hill SD, he was the a High School Math Teacher at Mechanicsburg Area High School.  While in that position, he coached soccer and basketball, and worked as an Assistant Athletic Director.  In his spare time, he enjoys watching Penn State and Philadelphia sports.  He is a season ticket holder for Penn State football and enjoys making many Saturday trips to University Park to cheer on the Nittany Lions. He's also fortunate to have friends in a lot of fun places to visit, such as Nashville, Denver, and San Diego.
 
What is your favorite part of working at Camp Hill SD?
The students and athletes without a doubt!  We are very lucky to help lead these incredible young men and women during their careers in the Camp Hill School District. They are bound for bright futures with many successes.
 
What makes being a part of the Camp Hill community special or unique?
The makeup of our small town and community allows for unprecedented opportunities to show pride.  We have a very unique makeup compared to other school districts that allows our students to support students while also being cheered on and supported by parents, families, teachers, coaches, and the community.  Lion PRIDE is everywhere in the Camp Hill Borough!
 
A Fun Fact about Mr. June
I spent a summer traveling across the United States with my brother, camping out in National Parks and other historic points of interests.
