About Mrs. Rhinehart
Mrs. Rhinehart is originally from Camp Hill and is a graduate of our District. She still lives in Camp Hill with her husband, son, and daughter. Prior to coming to Camp Hill SD, she was the Principal at Capital Area School for the Arts Charter School in downtown Harrisburg. Before that, she taught 8th Grade Science and High School Social Studies in Middletown Area School District. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, cooking and baking, travelling to new places, reading, listening to podcasts, cheering for the Philadelphia Phillies, and staying active.
What is your favorite part of working at Camp Hill SD?
I love working with the faculty and staff to support student learning! My role allows for a lot of critical thinking and creativity, as well as opportunities to be innovative with new technology to engage students in new learning experiences. That is really rewarding for me!
Which Lion PRIDE trait do you model for our students?
Excellence - I think it is essential to strive for excellence in all that I do, and to model perseverance and hard work for our students. I think that having a strong work ethic and a drive to always do my best has allowed me to experience success in my life.
A Fun Fact about Mrs. Rhinehart
When I was a Principal, our school raised $2000 for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region organization so my colleague and I could rappel down a 22-story building in Harrisburg. It was really fun to do it, and the entire school got to watch and cheer us on. I also used it as a "teachable moment" for my son about conquering your fears.
