About Mrs. Russell
Mrs. Russell is originally from York, PA. She lives in the area with her husband, Eric, her son, Carter, and their two dogs, Molly and Lucy. Prior to coming to Camp Hill, she worked as a the Human Resources Assistant, and then Human Resources Manager for West Shore School District. Prior to that, she worked as in the front office at York County School of Technology. In her spare time, she love cross stitching, listening to podcasts, and is a bit of a foodie. She also likes cheering on the sideline of her son's soccer games and listening as he practices the baritone.
What is your favorite part of working in Camp Hill SD?
I really love working with a great team of people who genuinely care about each other, the students, the staff, and the community. It makes it easy to recruit candidates when everyone can clearly explain why they love Camp Hill!
What advice do you have for our students?
Just because the first version of your plan doesn't work out doesn't mean that something better isn't right around the corner. When I graduated high school, I didn't know what human resources was; now many years later, it's the career that I love.
A Fun Fact about Mrs. Russell
I participated in color guard through all of high school and into some of college. I still love following local marching bands and Drum & Bugle Corps.
