About Mr. Dunlap
Mr. Dunlap is originally from Waterloo, Iowa. He's been married for 23 years, and has three children. His oldest (Caiden) graduated last year from Mechanicsburg Area School District. His middle son, Trey, is going into his sophomore year of high school. And his youngest son, Finn, is in the 8th grade. They have a 4 year old Miniature Schnauzer. He also has his parents and his wife's mother living with him. Prior to coming to Camp Hill SD, he worked at Cumberland Valley School District where he taught High School English. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, fishing, and listening to music. One of his favorite things to do on summer mornings is drink coffee and read on his deck. He also enjoys playing Fortnite with his kids.

Which Lion PRIDE trait do you model for our students?
I believe I model RESPECT by giving it judiciously to all of my students, as opposed to them having to earn it from me. Simultaneously, I look to earn RESPECT from them, rather than demanding it due to my position. I've found that this almost always results in reciprocated respect.

What makes being a part of the Camp Hill SD community special?
The size of the community creates a closeness that is not found in most other districts/communities.

What advice do you have for our students?
My advice would be to own your education. Camp Hill SD exists to provide students with educational opportunities. Those opportunities will be most effective when students embrace their part in the educational process. Take advantage of the opportunities being presented.

A Fun Fact about Mr. Dunlap
