Comprehensive Plan
The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) requires all districts to submit a Comprehensive Plan every three years. The three-phase Comprehensive Planning process is designed to help school districts develop a shared vision and actionable goals to improve student learning. This is accomplished through data review and collaboration with various stakeholder groups. Beginning in the summer of 2023, stakeholders, comprised of Administrators, Board Members, Staff Members, Parents, and Community Partners, commenced working on phase three (final phase) of the 2024 - 2027 Plan for submission to PDE in March 2024. The development of this plan began (phase one) during the 2020 school year. Phases one and two had been previously submitted and approved by PDE.
The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) requires a public viewing period that enables the public to preview the draft plan and provide for an opportunity to provide feedback. There are two links below - a presentation that describes the Comprehensive Planning Process and summary of the Comprehensive Plan. The second link is our finalized and approved Comprehensive Plan that was submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) in March 2024.
