About Camp Hill
OUR DISTRICT
Camp Hill School District is comprised of five campuses, a district administrative office, two elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. CHSD is unique in that the school district and borough share the same borders. We are a walking and biking district that does not provide transportation to and from school.
We currently serve 1,300 students throughout our District. Our public district is often compared to a small private school, due to our close-knit and individualized learning environment. We are proud of the growing diversity of our community of learners and the families we serve. Within our academic and nurturing environment, rigorous programs prevail, and the achievement of all students is prioritized.

Welcome to the Borough of Camp Hill . . . A lovely, historic town located in the west shore region of Cumberland County and home to 8,000+ residents. The Borough has an effective, progressive borough government, an excellent school district, cost-efficient public services, and offers a host of recreational opportunities. OUR LOCATION
Camp Hill Borough is located in the heart of Central Pennsylvania. Across the Susquehanna River from Harrisburg, the state's capital, Camp Hill is a small, quiet suburb. In addition to the proximity to Harrisburg, Camp Hill is within an hour drive of Carlisle, Hershey, Lancaster, York, and Gettysburg. Regionally, we are within a few hours’ drive or train trip to several major cities, including Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, New York, Baltimore, and Washington D.C.
