    Classroom Update:

    Good Evening!

While we can't be together, I am excited to get started with our learning from home platform. I think it will be a good way to keep going with our skills! Please make sure to check your email, as specific assignments for students will be posted through email. In addition, group assignments will be posted in my Google Classroom. The classroom code is, c4efea7. Right now, you will find only my reading class in there. If you work with me, but primarily in Mrs. DeSanto's or Mrs. Denlinger's classrooms, please refer to those assignments. As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. This is a learning curve for all of us, but it will be a great challenge. I hope you all are doing well and I cannot describe how much I miss everyone!

    Be Well,

    Mr. Z

    Good Evening Everyone!

It is hard to believe over two weeks have gone by since we last met! I hope you have been finding the links in my folder helpful to keep up with your skills. I have seen the progress in eSpark, and you may have noticed "assignments" when you log on. You do not need to complete these, but they are skills I saw that may be helpful to brush up on. I don't know if it has been as hard for you as for me to be out of school this long, but I want you to know that I am looking forward to getting back to our normal school routine as soon as possible.

Keep working on the activities in the folder. You will notice a new folder for this week. In addition, be on the lookout for communication from me via email about plans for the following week. While we are in these uncertain, unchartered times, I hope you are all finding time with your families to be enjoyable. I know we have been enjoying the time together while navigating through the difficult waters of working and schooling from home. Mila, our Bernese Mt. Dog, has thoroughly been enjoying the company at home and many walks!

Stay in touch, and be well!

    -Mr. Z

    Good morning students!

I hope these couple of days you have been able to get rejuvenated yet also had some time to use some of the materials in the folder.  For, of you who have your Reading Mastery books home, a great way to keep reading is to review stories we have read from earlier in the year. This will help you continue to build your fluency! You can also read these stories to family members, and discuss the theme, main idea, the characters in the story, and the problem the characters are facing.

ESpark is a great way to continue to review your math skills! In addition, you have your math books home, and the old "remembering" pages, as well as the fluency checks within the homework book, are excellent ways to keep your skills sharp, as you have all worked so hard this year to build those skills! Again, stay well and do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.

    -Mr. Zangle

I cannot express how disappointed I am that I will not be getting to work with you face to face for the next couple of weeks. With that said, this doesn't mean our learning has to stop! Below, you will find links, activities, and resources to use over the next two weeks to review what we have done so far this year! Use this time to explore these resources and challenge yourself! Please refer to the folder labeled March 17 through March 27.

You also have your reading books at home. As you are all at different spots in your book, I will be following up with individual emails about what you can do with those!

Stay safe, work hard, and enjoy the time with family!
