Kindergarten Registration Day for the 2020-2021 school year is postponed until further notice.
Kindergarten Registration Day for the 2020-21 school year is postponed until further notice. We will communicate the new date as soon as it is determined. Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we work together in the best interest and well-being of our entire Camp Hill Community.
Online pre-registration is still available; click here to access the form. If you have a child who will be five years of age by September 1, 2020, and will be attending Kindergarten in the 2020-2021 school year, pre-registration is required.
If you do not have a child eligible for Kindergarten, but know of a neighbor or friend with a Kindergarten age child; please share this information with them. For questions concerning pre-registration, please call Megan Wert, at (717) 901-2400, ext. 5939.

Requests for AM or PM Kindergarten class:

A letter will be sent in July providing information regarding the assigned session (AM or PM) and teacher assignments will be finalized/communicated via the Parent Portal in August of the upcoming school year.
Back to School Night:
Yes, Back to School Night is typically held prior to the start of school. You will receive more information regarding this event in July.
Other than a backpack, your child will not need any other supplies.
Volunteers are always welcome and needed in kindergarten. On December 31, 2014, Act 153 took effect, changing the requirements for volunteers. On June 29, 2015, Act 15 amended Act 153. There are now three clearances required (Act 151- PA Child Abuse Clearance, Act 34- PA State Police Clearance, and Act 114- FBI Clearance or CHSD Volunteer Verification Form). Volunteers are required to obtain new clearances every 60 months. The Camp Hill School District no longer processes or pays for volunteer clearances. Volunteers are responsible for obtaining current clearances and submitting hard copies to the district administration office. More information can be found on the Camp Hill School District website within the Volunteer section.
In order to receive any non-emergency/emergency notifications, you will need to sign up for Blackboard Alert Portal. More information can be found on the Camp Hill School District website within the Parent Portal section.
