Health Services
Camp Hill School District's Health Services Department is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment across our schools. Our school nurses are here to care for your child if they become ill or injured at school or if they have chronic health problems. School nurses provide other services, such as administering medication, providing health and wellness education, and serving as a resource to connect your child with agencies or providers in the community. Our school nurses work closely with families, teachers, counselors, and principals to support your child in the educational setting. It is important for us to partner together to have a safe and healthy school year!
Some general information related to our Health Services programming--
- Any parent/guardian whose child has a medical condition which may affect them while at school should relay this information directly to the school nurse. If you would like to set up a meeting, please email or call your child's school nurse.
- Please use our Student Information System (SIS) Parent Portal to update health data to include changes in medical conditions, permission for medications at school and telephone numbers. It will be very important to keep your phone numbers up to date the school year.
- Essential student health forms are located in the Student Health Forms tab below. Please contact your child's school nurse for paper copies of the forms if you are unable to print them out.
- All injuries that will require any special accommodations (restricted movement, no Physical Education classes or recess, etc.) while in school must have a primary care provider's excuse and orders for the requested accommodations.
- Please have your child bring a refillable water bottle to school each day. We have water fill stations around the schools to keep them hydrated. No juice, sports drinks, sodas, or energy drinks should be brought to school.
