  • Where do I get an instrument?

    Posted by:

You can get an instrument from any reputable instrument retailer.  I highly recommend purchasing your instrument from the Horn Hospital.  Visit the rental info page for more information.  https://www.camphillsd.k12.pa.us/Page/4709

** If renting an instrument would be burdensome to your family, please contact Mrs. Beam.  Mbeam@camphillsd.k12.pa.us.  We do have a few instruments we can loan out **

  • How much/often should my student practice?

    Posted by:

Your student should practice for 15-20 minutes every day.  The goal should be to play 100 minutes every week.  Consistent, daily practice is the "secret" to success when it comes to learning an instrument.  It may not sound great at first, but soon they will start to make progress and eventually they will sound sound amazing!
