  • These links are additional resources you can use if you get stuck on a homework problem or want to look up more information about a topic.  If you need a refresher of how to use any tool, please ask.

    Khan Academy

Khan Academy is the best tool that I've found for math help.  For example, if we are learning about "limits", just type that into the search box at the top of the page.  When it drops down, you can click on exercises or videos.  The exercises will give extra practice problems, while the videos will show and explain an example problem.  https://www.khanacademy.org/

    WolframAlpha

WolframAlpha is another quality option for math help. This program is useful for answering individual questions, as you can simply type the problem into the search, it will solve the problem for you, and it will provide various approaches to reach the solution. The only downfall with WolframAlpha is the explanations are not always clear, and there are no video explanations.  https://www.wolframalpha.com/

    YouTube

YouTube is probably the least effective tool because of the distractions that are always present.  Still, if used properly, YouTube can be a great tool for other ideas and approaches of how to solve similar problems.  You will have to search the topic and look for a reputable video.  https://www.youtube.com/
