BLACKBOARD ALERT PORTAL
The Camp Hill School District uses the Blackboard Alert mass notification system to send communications via phone calls, text-alerts, and e-mails. Alerts may include emergency messages, school closings, delays, early dismissals, and announcements from your student's school (outreach messages). You will be able to manage your message delivery options from your computer, choosing how you would like to have messages delivered, and keep your Blackboard Alert contact information updated.
IMPORTANT - If you change demographic information in Blackboard, please be sure to update that information in the SIS Parent Portal as well. The SIS is the student management system for the district and is not connected to Blackboard.
In order to create an account you will need:
- Your Student(s) ID Number (Student ID numbers can be found on your student's report card or progress report. If you need your student's ID number you will need to visit the school office in person to request the ID. Student ID numbers will not be given over the telephone, email, or fax for security reasons.)
- The Household Telephone Number (Note:If a student has two households, each parent can create an account.)
Middle and High School Parents may want to enter their students’ cell phone number as a contact for emergency notifications.
