Welcome to Mrs. Nester's Web Page!
Hello, I am Whitney Nester and I am the 8th grade Learning Support teacher. This is my 6th year at Camp Hill. After receiving my master's degree in special education at Shippensburg University, I started my teaching career at Marshall Middle School in Harrisburg. I feel that teaching is my true calling and I feel so lucky to have a career that I am so passionate about!
Mrs. Zangle is the 8th grade learning support paraprofessional. She has been apart of the 8th grade team for many years. She is extremely knowledgeable with everything 8th grade. She is dedicated to helping students across all academic areas. Mrs. Zangle is an amazing asset to the 8th grade team!
My Goals: My goal is to provide an effective instruction while inspiring students to reach their full potential. I strive to provide students with a positive, respectful, and consistent learning environment that promotes learning. I believe students have the ability to reach amazing heights with positive support and individualized instruction.
My Expectations: I expect that students enter the classroom prepared to learn. This means that they have all materials and assignments needed. I also expect that students always try their best, participate, and ask for help if needed. Lastly, I expect that students are respectful of one another and display our lion pride.
I co-teach Reading 8 with Mrs. Bolcavage, co-teach pre-algebra with Mrs. Zimmerman, provide small instruction in English Language Arts, and work closely with Mr. Knapp, Mrs. Flynn, and Mrs. Mayle to support students in those regular education classes.
