Role of the School Counselor

  • As a school counselor, my role is to implement a comprehensive counseling program that promotes and enhances student achievement.  With my unique background in education as well as the mental health field, I have the skill set necessary to address all students’ academic, personal/social and career development needs.

As a school counselor, I will incorporate leadership, advocacy and collaboration to address the needs of all students through prevention and intervention programs that are a part of a comprehensive school counseling program.
