  •  This is my 15th school year as a Learning Support Teacher for Camp Hill. This is my 9th year teaching in the Middle School. I previously taught K, 1st and 2nd grade at Hoover and Schaeffer Elementary schools as well as 4th & 5th grade at Hoover (before they moved to Eisenhower).   It is a joy and a privilege to work for such a fantastic district! I am honored to have received Shippensburg's "Teacher of the Year" this year.

I was awarded the Shippensburg University School Study Council's Outstanding Teacher of the Year for the 2020-2021 Academic year.

Before I started teaching at Camp Hill, I earned my Bachelors of Science in Education Special Education and Elementary Education, from Bloomsburg University in 2006 and Masters of Education in Reading in 2007. I finished my second master's this summer through LaSalle - Masters of Education focused in the Differentiated Classroom.

In addition to the courses I teach and co-teach, I am the lead adviser for Camp Hill Mini-THON, am part of the Canadensis Outdoor Education staff, and a volunteer wrestling coach for our Junior High team.

When I am not teaching, advising, and coaching, I love to spend time with my husband and son, Beau, my family, and friends. I enjoy spending time in nature, hiking, camping, gardening, fishing, reading, cooking, going to the gym, and petting all the dogs I can find! Watching sports is one of my favorite ways to relax : Penn State Wrestling & Football, Steelers, Penguins, Gymnastics.
