I work with students in grades 9-12 whose last name begins with the letters L to Z.  I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware and a Master of Education degree with a concentration in Secondary School Counseling from Shippensburg University.     I am a national board certified counselor, a member of the American School Counselor Association, and a member of the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling.

I can be reached at or 717-901-2500 ext. 3967.  Students may also messgae me through their Naviance and Schoology accounts.

In the first semester of each school year I meet individually with each senior to finalize post-secondary plans including completion of college applications.  For blended learners appointments are during study halls on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  Remote learners have appointments on Tuesday and Thursday through Zoom meetings.  Students are welcome to request an appointment.  I will nofitify students when I schedule one for them.

In the second semester I meet individually with each junior for senior year and post-secondary planning, SAT/ACT testing options, and related topics as needed or requested by students.

Students in all grades are welcome to see me at any point in the school year to discuss academic, social, or personal concerns.

Throughout the year I monitor the academic status of students by reviewing progress reports and report cards, confering with teachers, and meeting with students.  I encourage students and parents to access the Parent or Student Portal on the Student Information System to check course grades, class assignment grades, attendance, test scores and transcripts.  Grades, attendance, and due dates for upcoming class assignments can also be accessed through Schoology.

Counselors are in the classroom periodically throughout the school year to assist students in using their Naviance account.  Naviance is an Internet- based college and career readiness platform. Students can set goals, build a resume, research colleges, explore careers and send documents electronically to colleges/universities.
